The Moors Tavern will be holding its first Friday night talk-in of the season this week, giving fans the chance to put their questions to the club’s Management trio.
Manager Jason Ainsley and Assistant Manager Tommy Miller will answer fans’ questions form 7pm in the bar, along with a talk-in debut for First Team Coach Paul Midgley.
Club officials and board members will also be in attendance, including Moors’ first ever Managing Director Tony Wilson.
Hosted by the club’s media team, the talk-in will examine Spennymoor’s start to the 2018/19 National League North season, which has seen the team climb the table, culminating in their superb 2-1 win over leaders Chorley on Saturday.
The night will also feature a free buffet, discounted pints and chances to win money on football cards.
This weekend’s fixture with Stockport County has been postponed due to County’s FA Cup obligations, making Friday night the perfect time to get your Moors fix for the weekend.
Because of the fixture rearrangement, The Brewery Field will open its doors to supporters and volunteers on Saturday for a working party, where the club are looking for help to complete general ground maintenance jobs.
Club personnel will be in attendance at 11am for a few hours, so anyone who is interested in helping out around the ground should make their way to The Brewery Field. Willing volunteers will be offered pies from Hockings Butchers for their time.
Saturday’s fun run, which was scheduled before the clash with Stockport County, has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled for another date.
