Taylor dominates awards evening on night of celebration

Taylor scored 32 goals in all competitions for Moors in the 2018/19 season.

Striker Glen Taylor won five personal accolades at the club’s presentation evening after a goal-laden season.

Taylor scored 32 times in all competitions during the 2018/19 season and won the National League North Player of the Year and Top Scorer awards.

His fellow players, the supporters and his manager also selected him to collect the respective trophies.

Taylor’s long range free-kick against Darlington in January won him the Goal of the Season accolade.

James Curtis was the sponsor’s player of the year, collecting the award from Sergeant Bell of the 8 Rifles.

The Moors squad collected a special commemorative plaque to mark a brilliant season.
Spennymoor Town’s management team were honoured for their work over the season.
