NEWS | Taylor scoops three awards at club’s presentation evening

Spennymoor Town striker Glen Taylor was the big winner at the club’s annual awards evening as he collected three of the five first team trophies on offer.

Taylor, who scored 23 goals in all competitions in 2017/18, collected the Top Goalscorer gong, as well as a commemorative ball for his hat-trick against Alfreton Town in April.

He also scooped the Supporter’s Player of the Season award, voted by the fans online and in person, and was voted Player’s Player of the Season by his fellow teammates.

Rob Ramshaw collected the Manager’s Player of the Season award, while David Foley’s long-range strike against Kidderminster Harriers in October 2017 won him the Goal of the Season trophy.
