Greenwood, 22, had spent most of his career at The Black Cats, joining at the age of eight before making his way up the ranks at the Stadium of Light. The Gateshead born wide-man made his full Premier League debut in May 2016 under Sam Allardyce, playing 52 minutes in a 2-2 draw with Watford. That was his only senior appearance for the Sunderland, and after his release he made the switch to Gateshead, joining at the same time as his new Moors teammate Callum Williams. After a short stint at the Gateshead International Stadium, Greenwood moved North to join Falkirk on a one-year deal, scoring on his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Partick Thistle. However, a change of manager saw the youngster released just under two months later. After being without a club for eight months, Greenwood is looking forward to a fresh chapter in his career.
