Four of Spennymoor Town’s most iconic figures have been added to the Legends Wall at The Brewery Field.
The club worked with branding partners Aztec Colour Print to create the artwork which goes alongside fellow legends who were immortalised at the start of the 2017/18 season.
The four new additions, Carl Beasley, Barry Farr, David Leitch and Andrew Oates, have been associated with the club for over 30 years collectively.
All have played an integral role in the development and progression of the club on and off the pitch and will always be part of the fabric of Spennymoor Town Football Club.
Adam Brown, Head of PR & Media at Spennymoor Town, said: “The club is now of a scale where as much happens off the pitch as on it.
“Running Spennymoor Town is a daily job for a team of people and we thought it fitting to honour that in the branding work we’ve had done this season.
“All four individuals have played a huge part in getting the club to where it is today. The Chief Executive selected them individually for their service during his tenure so we’re happy to see them recognised and I hope our supporters are too.
“None of them knew anything about this, so I’m sure they’ll stop by to take a look and a picture next time they’re at the ground.
“Thanks must also go to Aztec Colour Print, our branding partner, who have done a sterling job of producing and fitting the materials.”
Lee Redford, Director at Aztec Colour Print, said: “We’ve followed and worked with Spennymoor for years now and it’s a club full of big personalities.
“I think it’s great that there are so many people considered as ‘legends’ and that they’re recognised at the highest level of the club.
“We’ve done quite a bit of branding around the Brewery Field to give the ground a unique feel over the last two seasons. These pieces honouring individuals are always impactful and have been well received.”
