Spennymoor manager Jason Ainsley was disappointed with the defending on show as his side fell to a 3-1 defeat Guiseley.

All of the home side’s goals came from set-pieces on an evening of frustration for Moors.

Aaron Martin opened the scoring on the half hour mark, heading in from a corner, before Moors responded immediately via a freakish own goal.

Martin was there to head in again three minutes after the interval, before Lee Shaw’s deflected strike ended the chance of a comeback.
