Night on the Town is BACK

Spennymoor Town’s biggest annual fundraising event is back for 2019 and, once again, the line-up has reached new heights.
Noughties superstar Sophie Ellis-Bextor headlines the evening, taking place at Ramside Hall on Saturday 9th November 2019.  She is joined by Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions stars Boogie Storm and critically-acclaimed comedy performer Steve Rawlings.
Compered by North East personality Brian Houshby and featuring a late-night DJ, Night on the Town VIII’s entertainment will go further than ever before to cement the event as not only a memorable fundraiser for the football club, but a highlight of the North East’s corporate entertainment calendar.
As always, the luxury evening will attract people from all over the country and feature a stunning three-course meal; a champagne reception and an auction and raffle with exclusive sporting and experience prizes.
Adam Brown, Marketing and Communications Director at Spennymoor Town, said: “We’ve pushed the envelope further this year and brought in some of the country’s best performing talent.  It’s going to be a memorable evening as always.
“The club is proud of the reputation Night on the Town has built as its own entity.  The support we received last year made it a runaway success and we’re confident we’ll emulate that this year.
“Sophie Ellis-Bextor is obviously a hugely successful recording artist, but also comes highly recommended for live events such as ours because of her professionalism and personality.
“Boogie Storm wowed the nation for a second time last week when they re-appeared on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.  Their performance went to new levels, so we’re thrilled to have them at Night on the Town.  Having worked with them before, I can safely say they’ll blow our guests away.
“I’ve also worked recently with Steve Rawlings, who is a perfect fit for this event.  He’s extremely funny and I’m sure he won’t mind me saying that some of his tricks and stunts mean he’s also a little bit mad!
“All in all, it’s got the makings of an unforgettable evening and I can’t wait to experience it myself.”
