Spennymoor Town Football Club were delighted to host England Ladies’ final training session before their international friendly against Brazil this weekend.
The Brewery Field, which has undergone extensive work this summer, welcomed manager Phil Neville and the likes of UEFA Women’s Player of the Year Lucy Bronze and captain Steph Houghton.
The Lionesses, who are ranked 5th in the world, reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in France this year.
After hosting Brazil at The Riverside Stadium on Saturday they head to Lisbon to face Portugal, as they continue their preparations for the 2021 Euro’s which are being held in England.
