Midfielder Jack Earing has joined Spennymoor Town from FC Halifax Town on a short term loan deal.
The former Bolton Wanderers academy graduate, who made one senior appearance for the League One club, bolsters Moors’ midfield options with a busy period of fixtures on the horizon.
Spennymoor face Bradford (Park Avenue) on Saturday, before a double header with Darlington and clashes with Gateshead, King’s Lynn, Kettering and Altrincham in the space of 25 days.
Earing, 20, spent time on loan at fellow National League North side Curzon Ashton before making the move to The Shay in the summer of 2019.
He has made 10 appearances in the National League this season, scoring once against Ebbsfleet on the opening day of the campaign in August.
Manager Jason Ainsley believes the young playmaker can provide more depth to the midfield with a busy schedule approaching. He said: “With the busy Christmas period coming up and lots of games in a short space of time, we felt it was an ideal oppurtunity to bring Jack in to the squad.
“We have a few injuries to contend with and Jack has lots of qualities that will enhance our squad.”
