Scunthorpe defender Lewis Butroid has been recalled early from his loan spell with Spennymoor Town.
Butroid joined on a three-month loan deal at the beginning of January and made four appearances for Moors, playing the full 90 minutes against Kettering Town, Kidderminster, Leamington and Gloucester.
After returning to Scunthorpe, Butroid had a farewell message for Moors. He said: “I would like to thank everyone at Spennymoor for making me feel so welcome and giving me the opportunity to play for them over the last month.
“Although it wasn’t long I really enjoyed my spell with the club and hopefully they have enjoyed having me as much as I have enjoyed being there. The club has helped get into a much better place physically and mentally and I can’t thank everyone at the club enough.
“I wish Jason and the lads all the very best for the rest of the season and hopefully they can go one better than last year. Up the Moors!”
