The international fixture between England and Republic of Ireland Under 18 Schoolboys at The Brewery Field has been postponed by the ESFA.

The Centenary Shield game was scheduled for Friday 3rd April.

A statement released yesterday said:

‘Further to recent correspondence with regard to the Covid-19 virus, the ESFA continues to follow government and FA advice. Please therefore note that all schools’ football organized by the national body and its member Associations is to be postponed for the foreseeable future.

‘Schools are advised to follow the latest advice from the DfE with regard to their activities. The ESFA will continue to monitor the national advice and the guidance from The FA, and updates will be communicated via website and social media.’

Tickets purchased from the club will still be valid for when the fixture is rearranged.
