Former Spennymoor Town player Jake Hibbs suffered a serious leg injury playing for his current club, Bradford Park Avenue, on Saturday 28 August against Chorley.

The severity of the injury means Jake is unable to work for a minimum of 16 weeks.

A fundraising page has been set up for Jake to raise funds and help support him and his partner, who is pregnant, financially over what will be a tough period for Hibbs.

The club is asking supporters to come together and support Jake in his recovery. Hibbs played for the club between 2018 and 2020 and was a huge part of the side that reached the play-off final in 2019.
