MATCH SPONSOR

Spennymoor Town and AFC Telford meet for the first time since February 2020 as Moors look to build on a superb September.

Tommy Miller has overseen three successive victories in the National League North, leaving Moors in 4th place and four points off leaders AFC Fylde.

In contrast, The Bucks ended the month with four defeats and are just one point and two places above bottom side Southport.

Gavin Cowan departed Telford after a statement was released from the club on Tuesday morning following a 3-0 defeat at Darlington last weekend.

The Bucks made the interim appointments of Dennis Greene as Manager and Alex Meechan as Assistant Manager on Wednesday, and they will be managing the first team with immediate effect starting with Saturday’s fixture.

AFC Telford United has proven to be a bogey team for Moors since a first meeting in the FA Cup in 2014. In nine meetings, Spennymoor are yet to taste victory.
