Bradford City defender Jorge Sikora has joined Spennymoor on an initial 28-day loan and is available for Saturday’s trip to Kidderminster Harriers.
Sikora, 19, successfully broke through the Bantams’ youth system and recently signed a new one-year contract extension until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
He made his senior debut against Manchester City’s under-21s in the EFL Trophy back in September 2019, before making his league bow against Morecambe on the final day of the 2020/21 season.
The 6’2’ centre-back has been involved with Poland at youth level and adds to Moors’ options ahead of a busy November.
Manager Tommy Miller said: “Jorge has been on my radar for a while now and I am delighted to be able to get a deal done.
“He is a quick and physically dominant defender who is keen to get out and play first team football.
“I would like to thank Derek Adams at Bradford City for making this loan deal possible, and we wish Jorge a successful stay with us over the next month.”
Sikora goes straight into tomorrow’s squad to face Harriers.
