Aaron Cunningham has left the club after requesting to terminate his contract.

Cunningham, 23, made a sole appearance in the 2-0 defeat at league leaders AFC Fylde last week.

Manager Tommy Miller said: “Aaron rang me last Thursday afternoon to say he wants a break away from football, and that he would like his contract terminating with immediate effect.

“I was bitterly disappointed with his decision as when I spoke to him before he signed with the club he was looking forward to the challenge and was excited to get started.”
