Today’s Buildbase FA Trophy Second Round tie against Chorley has been postponed.
Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Arwen overnight and into this morning, Chorley FC’s travel company has advised the club they cannot get their squad to the ground safely.
The Brewery Field’s facilities and pitch was all ready to go following tireless work from the ground staff and volunteers, however, the club were contacted from Chorley representatives this morning following road closures on their route to the game.
The match referee spoke to representatives from Chorley and then made the decision at 9:30am on the grounds of player safety to postpone the game.
The game will now take place on Tuesday 30 November at 7:45pm.
We would like to advise all our supporters to stay safe.
