Sheffield United goalkeeper Jordan Amissah has joined Moors on a 28-day loan with the option to extend ahead of today’s FA Trophy tie against Plymouth Parkway.
The 20-year-old shot stopper was a trialist for the club during pre-season and is set to feature in today’s squad.
An imposing keeper who lists Borussia Dortmund and Schalke amongst his previous clubs, Amissah has recently broke into Sheffield United’s Under 23 set-up.
Head of Football Jason Ainsley was delighted to get the move done and thanked Amissah’s parent club for allowing the deal to take place.
He said: “Jordan is a highly rated and recommended goalkeeper who boasts a big presence. He has experience of the National League North which is an added bonus.
“I would like to thank Sheffield United for allowing the deal to go through so quickly.”
