Duo loaned out

John Lufudu and Harry Flatters have both completed loan deals away from The Brewery Field.

Full-back Lufudu, who signed for the club from Guiseley in the summer of 2021, will head to previous employers Ashton United of the Northern Premier League Premier Division until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has started 17 games in all competitions this campaign with three additional appearances from the substitutes bench.

The defender has claimed two assists but is yet to score for Moors.

Goalkeeper Flatters has joined Pickering Town of Northern Premier League Division One East on a 30-day-loan.

The 20-year-old has made six appearances in all competitions this season, including all of Moors’ Durham Challenge Cup fixtures.

Joint-Manager Anthony Johnson said: “We’ve brought in the likes of Jude (Oyibo), Claudio (Ofosu), Jordan Thewlis and Jordan Amissah as we begin to shape the side we want.

“Unfortunately, some players will fall victim to that. With Harry, he needs to go out and get some game time.

“He’s a fantastic young keeper who we believe has a big future, but he just needs to go and play games.

“In terms of the likes of John Lufudu and Scott McLean, it’s about planning for the future and what that looks like.

“For us it’s about looking at the bigger picture and doors will continue to open and close until we get it right.”
