James Curtis will be available for selection ahead of this weekend’s game at Gateshead after the FA overturned his red card against Dagenham and Redbridge.

Curtis was dismissed in the 67th minute of Moors’ FA Trophy game in East London following a challenge with George Saunders.

The club’s appeal of wrongful dismissal and excessive punishment was successful following evidence provided to FA Members.

The incident did result in a serious injury to Daggers winger Saunders, and everyone at Spennymoor Town Football Club wishes George a speedy recovery and sends their best wishes to him.
