Moors will be aiming to break into the play-off places when they visit Merseyside to face Southport at Pure Stadium.
Spennymoor clawed back that play-off gap to two points on Easter Monday, as they eased past fellow North East side Blyth Spartans 3-0.
Southport were downed by Farsley Celtic 2-0 last time out. A defeat that continued their run of 10 games without a win and a streak that also includes five defeats.
The Sandgrounders could leapfrog Spennymoor with a win, whilst a victory for the visitors could put them in a play-off place and four points clear of Southport.
