Spennymoor Town is delighted to welcome Steven Jones as the club’s new Hospitality Manager.

Jones, 45, brings a wealth of experience having previously managed a number of venues, most notably the former Masons’ Arms and The Weardale.

He will be leading Spennymoor Town’s customer service operations both on match days and non-match days at The Brewery Field.

This will include the management of The Neil Adams Sports Bar and County Durham Lounge, as well as the running of the fan zones and turnstiles.

Jones will be forming part of the wider management team at the club following several changes to the off-field team structure.

General Manager Ian Geldard said: “Having known Steve for more than 10 years I am fully in the knowledge that he is the perfect man to head up our Hospitality operations moving forward.

“Steve has a proven track record of growing local businesses and is well known and respected within the Spennymoor community.

“I am very confident his experience, communication and organisation will take our customer service offering to the next level ahead of another exciting season.”
