Spennymoor Town Over 60s Walking Football Team, supported by Moors in the Community, took a huge stride forward last week when they took part in their first pre-season friendly.

Enthusiasm was high among the squad as they took to the pitch at Eastbourne Sports Complex in Darlington and all of the players enjoyed their first taste of competitive action.

Other pre-season friendlies have already been scheduled and the squad will also be receiving their first home kit in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for that and their results when the campaign gets underway for real!
