Anthony Johnson has urged his players to find the next gear as they look to continue their unbeaten home start when they welcome Chester to The Brewery Field this weekend.

Moors have drawn all three of their games on home soil so far and Johnson is now challenging them to turn their encouraging performances into three points on Saturday.

Johnson’s men are also looking to produce a positive reaction after suffering their first defeat of the campaign at Kidderminster Harriers last weekend – and the boss is backing them to do it.

“We’re unbeaten at home and have a good record there since we’ve come in, but we want to be exciting,” he told us.

“We’ve played really well at The Brewery Field so far without getting that win that we’ve deserved.

“The lads have been hard to beat and organised, but now we have to push on – we have to entertain, get those points on the board and really start ramping the pressure up on the teams above us.”
