Tributes Paid To Her Late Majesty

Players, staff, officials and supporters of Spennymoor Town and Curzon Ashton came together on Tuesday night to pay their respects to Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Moors were back in action for the first time since news of the Queen’s sad death last Thursday and it was a chance for the Club to pay tribute to her 70 years of service.

Both sets of players wore black armbands during the game and before kick-off an impeccable and emotional minute’s silence was observed, following which the National Anthem was played.
