ADL Developments director, Andrew Fletcher says he and his colleagues from the design and build experts are excited to become a bigger part of Spennymoor Town during the 2022/23 campaign.
Formed in 2016, ADL has enjoyed a rapid growth under the stewardship of Andrew and his fellow directors, David Harrod and Lee Cox, who were brought together by their love of football.
The trio have played together for more than 25 years but six years ago decided to join forces on the work front and they have seen their new business go from strength-to-strength ever since.
Last summer, ADL teamed up with Spennymoor Town and, whilst they have enjoyed being involved over the last 12 months, they’re hoping to further immerse themselves during the new campaign.
“We’d like to become part and parcel of the Football Club and the town of Spennymoor
“We were originally introduced to Spennymoor Town in 2021 by Phil Forster, who we were doing a lot of work for at Teesside Airport,“ explained Andrew.
“Phil told us that it was a great club and he brought us along to have a look and see if we would like to get involved.
“This was never going to be a one-year sponsorship where we gave some cash and came and enjoyed a year of football. We want to become part and parcel of Spennymoor Town Football Club.
“Last year was a fledgling season for us because we had a lot of work to get round so taking time out to get to the football wasn’t always the top priority, but now we’re greater established we’re hoping there’ll be more time to be part of it.”
