Jamie Chandler admitted his pride in the players’ performance against AFC Fylde on Tuesday night after Moors came agonisingly close to bringing all three points home from Mill Farm.

Brilliant goals from Rob Ramshaw and Glen Taylor had handed Moors a 2-0 advantage but The Coasters launched a late fightback and were on the right side of a dubious penalty award as they pulled it back to 2-2.

The disappointment of not winning did not dent Chandler’s satisfaction with the way his side went about it and declared the performance the best of the season so far.
