Jamie Chandler has challenged the Moors players to build on an encouraging performance last time out when they return action against Buxton at The Brewery Field on Saturday.

The midfield star is part of the Club’s interim management team and is relishing his new responsibilities in helping to prepare the team for the weekend encounter.

And Chandler insists that, despite not bringing home three points from Mill Farm after being 2-0 up, the players can still take confidence from their performance into Saturday’s clash with The Bucks.

“There were lots of positives to come out of our last game at Fylde and we want to carry that into Saturday now,” Chandler told us.

“We want to build some momentum and put in a really positive performance in front of our own fans on home soil.

“We want to implement a style of play that is going to excite supporters, get them on the feet and right behind us so we’ll continue to work hard ahead of Saturday.”
