Jason Ainsley has moved to strengthen his midfield options with the acquisition of Northern Ireland Under-21 star Dylan Boyle on a month’s loan from Fleetwood Town.
The Belfast-born midfielder has been on the books at Fleetwood since 2018 when he caught the eye whilst playing for Ridgeway Rovers back in Northern Ireland.
Boyle has made excellent progress since joining The Cod Army, going on to captain their Under-18 side, earn a first professional contract and appear for their First Team.
The talented youngster’s senior debut arrived in 2020 when he came off the bench against Leicester City in the EFL Trophy, before he gained further First Team experience during loan spells at FC United of Manchester and Bamber Bridge.
In November 2021 he made his first senior start for Fleetwood in the EFL Trophy game at Bolton Wanderers and he went on to make 10 appearances in League One last term.
However, boss Scott Brown is keen for him to get more regular football under his belt and Ainsley moved quickly to engineer a deal to bring Boyle to The Brewery Field.
The 20-year-old schemer trained with his new teammates on Thursday night and will hope to go straight into contention for a Moors debut against Banbury United on Saturday.
