The Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Luke Clark as its new Head of Recruitment.

Clark has left his role as Chief Scout at Boston United in order to join Moors and will now work closely with boss Jason Ainsley and the rest of the management team.

“I have been speaking to Jason for a few weeks and it’s a great opportunity for me to help take the Club to the next level and improve the squad,” he told us.

“I live locally so to be able to play my part in attracting the best of the talent in the North-East is something that stood out to me and I’m really looking forward to getting started.

“This is a forward-thinking Club which is ambitious and wants to move on. I have watched from afar for many seasons and seen it progress so it’s a really exciting time to be joining.

“There is a good nucleus of players already here, but we’ll be working hard to improve that because I think we need to add some fresh young blood as well as some experienced ones at the level.”

A UEFA-qualified coach, Clark is also keen to combine his role in recruitment with some work to support the Youth Football Club during his time at The Brewery Field.
