Paul Blackett has admitted he’s thrilled to be able to focus on scoring goals after Moors clinched a deal to bring him to The Brewery Field from Gateshead.
The Club has paid an undisclosed fee to secure the services of the 24-year-old front man and Blackett says he was interested in the move from the moment it was mentioned.
“It’s been the pipeline for a week or so and to have it done is a relief really,” he told Moors TV.
“The gaffer has shown how much he wants me here and now I have to try and repay that with performances on the pitch.
“I like to run in behind, get the defenders facing towards their own goal, and put the ball in the back of the net – that’s my main job and it’s what I enjoy doing most.
“I got 10 in this division last year and I am confident in my own abilities; when I am on the pitch, I always feel like I am going to score so I want to bring that here and hopefully I can score plenty.”
