Moors boss Jason Ainsley plans to have a closer look at Moussa Diallo after the exciting winger joined the Club on a non-contract basis.
The 18-year-old has been in training with Moors this week and was due to play some part in Tuesday evening’s Durham Challenge Cup tie against Chester-le-Street United before its postponement.
“He’s an exciting wide player who has pace and energy,” explained Ainsley.
“He’s recently been on trial with Huddersfield Town and Salford City but now we’ve now got the chance to have a good look at him in and around training.
“It was frustrating that the game in midweek was called off due to the weather, but now he’s signed the non-contract forms it gives us that opportunity to see more of him.”
Diallo has been handed the number 7 shirt and will be in contention to make a Moors debut in this afternoon’s FA Trophy tie against Runcorn Linnets at The Brewery Field.
