CEO Donates To Club’s Festive Projects

Moors Chief Executive Brad Groves has handed a massive boost to Moors in the Community’s Christmas drive by donating £2,000 towards four key festive projects.

The Club’s flourishing community arm has pledged support to the local Foodbank by making The Brewery Field a drop-off point for donations this Christmas, whilst they have also launched a Christmas Tree Gift Appeal to help provide some joy for youngsters this festive season.

As well as that, Moors’ Community Development Manager Luke Cowie has been working hard to organise a Community Christmas Dinner at the stadium as well as looking to host several Christmas parties.

“We launched an ambitious plan to try and help as many people of all ages as we possibly could this Christmas,” explained Cowie.

“Our town and community are massively important to this Football Club and, particularly at this time of year, we wanted to spread some festive cheer and try to put some smiles on faces.

“Brad’s generous donation not only allows us to press on with our various projects but also gives us the opportunity to further enhance what we’re offering to the community this Christmas.

“It will cover the cost of the food for the Community Christmas Dinner and also for the parties we’ll be hosting at the stadium, as well as provide funds for goodie bags and decorations.

“We’re proud of what we do at the Football Club, we are doing our best to have a real impact and Brad’s backing on these campaigns will be crucial to their success and the amount of people we can help during the festive period.”
