We’ve had an absolutely amazing response to our Moors in the Community Foodbank Appeal – but there is still time to make a donation if you want to help out this festive season.
Fans can still bring items into the Club as we’re utilising the Neil Adams Sports Bar as a collection point up until after the game on Saturday, with the following items the most sought after by the Foodbank:
- Tins
- Tea/coffee
- Rice pudding & custard
- Biscuits
- Pasta/rice
- Long life fruit juice
- Instant meals
- Pasta sauce
- Cereal
“We’ve had an incredible response from the people of Spennymoor so far,” said the Club’s Community Development Manager, Luke Cowie.
“The generosity being shown is inspiring and that means we can hopefully help even more people this Christmas with our donation to those who need it most which is good news.
“I want to thank everyone who has made a donation already and just ask that if anyone else can spare some items then we know they will be hugely appreciated.”
With over 30 food parcels set for delivery into the community next week, we are still encouraging anyone in need to apply for help which you can do anonymously by clicking here now.
