Moors midfielder Danny Greenfield has joined Scarborough Athletic on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old arrived at The Brewery Field during the summer and has gone on to make 18 appearances in all competitions.

However, most of the midfield man’s minutes on the pitch have come as a substitute and it’s now been agreed that he would benefit from more regular football out on loan.

“This is a great opportunity for Danny to go and play games in a team that doing really and challenging,” said Moors Assistant Manager, Jamie Chandler.

“The deal works for both clubs, so we wish Danny all the best in the games he plays, and we look forward to watching his progress closely in the coming weeks.”

Subject to clearance, Greenfield will now move into contention for a Scarborough debut when they travel to Bradford (Park Avenue) in National League North this Saturday.
