Tom Allan has admitted he can’t wait to help Moors climb the National League North table after his loan from Gateshead was extended until the end of the season.
The forward has featured 11 times for Moors since joining the Club in October and scored his first goal with a thumping drive during the recent trip to Brackley Town.
Now Jason Ainsley has been able to negotiate a deal with parent club Gateshead to ensure Allan will remain at The Brewery Field until May and the 23-year-old couldn’t be happier about it.
“I am buzzing,” Allan told us.
“I have had a few conversations with the gaffer over the last couple of weeks and he made it clear that he was really keen to keep me at the Club.
“I have really enjoyed my time here so far; I’ve played quite a lot of games and that was the main thing for me because I needed that time on the pitch and it’s been happening for me here.
“I’m really glad it’s all sorted out now because results have been better for us in the league in recent weeks so hopefully the team is starting to gel a bit and we can kick-on now with a few more wins.
“There are loads of games coming up in January so I am already looking forward to New Year’s Day when hopefully I can add to my goal tally and help the team get on a really good run.”
