Moors have agreed a deal with Gateshead that will see Tom Allan remain on loan at The Brewery Field until the end of the season.
The forward joined the Club at the end of September and has so far made 11 appearances, scoring his first goal in the visit to Brackley Town earlier this month.
Jason Ainsley had been keen to ensure an extended stay for the versatile 23-year-old and the Moors boss has now successfully negotiated with Gateshead to keep him at the Club until the end of the campaign.
“We are delighted to be extend Tom’s loan and we are grateful to Gateshead for their support with the deal,” Ainsley told us.
“We have seen real glimpses of what Tom can bring to the team with his direct running, his pace and that ability to play in a number of positions, and he’s also shown great energy levels.
“Unfortunately, he’s had a couple of little injury niggles during the first part of his loan when he was just getting into a run of games and that has hampered his progress a little.
“However, I have no doubt he will be a big asset to us during the second half of the season and hopefully he can chip in with his fair share of goals.
“He’s a terrific lad who trains really well, has a good attitude and is everything you are looking for in a loan player, so we’re really pleased he’s staying with us.”
