Promotion-chasing Moors Ladies will return to The Brewery Field on Sunday afternoon when they play host to Washington in the NERWFL Northern Division (2pm kick-off).

Billy Shackleton’s in-form side have already played on the First Team’s pitch twice this season, thrashing Gateshead 4-1 before battling to a 1-1 draw with high-flying Chester-le-Street United.

Now they’re set to show off their talents at The Brewery Field once again and this time it’s league-leaders Washington who form the opposition in what is a mouth-watering encounter.

After attracting fantastic crowds to their previous games at the stadium, Moors Ladies are hoping for another bumper turnout this weekend to cheer them on in a huge game.

Moors are currently unbeaten in their last six league outings and know victory on Sunday would take them just two points behind their visitors with two games in hand.
