Moors midfielder Joe Wheatley has joined Whitby Town on a one-month loan deal.

The 26-year-old has found opportunities limited at The Brewery Field since joining the Club during the summer and Moors boss Jason Ainsley has now given the green light for him to depart on loan.

Whitby boss Nathan Haslam has been keen to add Wheatley to his squad and a deal has now been agreed which will see the midfield man remain at The Turnbull Ground until the first weekend in March.

Wheatley has linked-up with The Seasiders in time to go into contention for their Northern Premier League Premier Division trip to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday afternoon.
