Jason Ainsley has been named as the Vanarama Manager of the Week after a productive seven days in National League North.

The Moors boss has oversaw a dramatic last-gasp win over Hereford before ending Chester’s long unbeaten run with a 2-1 win at The Deva Stadium on Saturday, followed up by Tuesday night’s entertaining 2-2 draw with high-flying King’s Lynn Town.

The sequence of results has helped Moors nudge themselves into the top half of the National League North table where they now sit five points outside the play-off positions with a game in hand.

In recognition of the good form, league title sponsors Vanarama have now awarded Ainsley the Manager of the Week award.
