Glen Taylor Injury To Be Assessed

Lewis Dickman is crossing his fingers the injury that forced Glen Taylor off at half time in the defeat to Kidderminster Harriers is not too serious.

The Moors front man had to come off during the break after sustaining a facial injury in the build-up to the visitors’ second goal and was taken to hospital for a check-up.

“I don’t know too much – I am not sure if he’s taken an elbow or he’s collided with someone’s head,” Dickman explained.

“His nose is in a little bit of a mess so it’s precautionary to take him off and that’s absolutely the right thing to do, even though we didn’t want to have to do it.

“Seeing Glen at half time, the medical staff made that decision, and we totally support that.

“Forget about football, first and foremost we’ll be in touch with Glen tonight to find out how he is and if there is any support needed but I am sure he will be back in no time.”

We’ll have more news on Taylor’s condition as soon as we have it here on the Official Website.
