Matchday Guide: Southport (A)

If you’re following Moors at Haig Avenue on Tuesday night then check out this handy guide to ensure your visit runs as smoothly as possible.

Tickets
Fans are advised to buy their tickets online in advance where possible as there will be no cash turnstiles in operation at Haig Avenue on Tuesday.

Visiting supporters will be able to buy tickets on the night but they will have to visit Southport’s Club Shop or the 1881 Lounge so buying online in advance could help you avoid queuing.

Turnstiles will open at 6.45pm.

Directions
The best way to get to Southport is by using the M6. Leave the M6 at Junction 26 and then head onto the A58 which will take you towards Southport. Leave at Junction 3 and take the A570 towards Ormskirk, following signs for Ormskirk Town Centre. When you come to a large roundabout with a McDonald’s outlet, take the third exit to stay on the A570 and then drive past the Richmond pub on your left before turning right onto Haig Avenue.

The postcode for your Sat Nav is PR8 6JZ.

Parking
There is no car park at the stadium. However, supporters can park on Haig Avenue as well as the surrounding streets.

Southport request that fans are respectful of local residents when choosing where to park and ensure they do not block driveways.

Food and Drink
Refreshment kiosks will be open for business inside the stadium once the turnstiles open.

Fans can expect to find a range of hot food as well as hot and cold beverages. A licensed bar will also be available inside the stadium.

Programmes
