Moors have moved back into the loan market to bring York City midfielder AJ Greaves to The Brewery Field for the rest of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Sheffield-born star has been with York since the start of the season when he signed a permanent deal at Bootham Crescent following a successful spell on loan from Doncaster Rovers.
Still only 22, Greaves came through the ranks at Doncaster where he captained the Under-18s before turning professional in 2019 and going onto make his senior debut in the EFL Trophy.
A tough-tackling midfielder with the ability to pick a pass, Greaves has also spent time on loan with Gainsborough Trinity and Redditch United in the past.
Moors boss Ainsley has been keen to bolster his squad after a spate of injuries in recent weeks and has now clinched a deal which will see Greaves remain at The Brewery Field for the rest of the season.
He will now link-up with his new teammates in time to be in contention for a Moors debut in this Saturday’s National League North fixture against Brackley Town.
