Joe Tait curled home another wonderful free kick for Moors as they came from behind to take a point against Brackley Town at The Brewery Field on Saturday.
However, the game was overshadowed by a medical emergency withing the crowd which saw the game halted for almost 20 minutes and a supporter taken to hospital in an ambulance. Everyone at the Club wishes them a speedy recovery.
Jason Ainsley handed debuts to now loan duo Zak Goodson and AJ Greaves against The Saints, while John Lufudu returned to the starting eleven after an ankle injury kept him out of the midweek win over Leamington.
It was the visitors who looked sharper in the opening exchanges though, and only a smart save from Harry Flatters prevented Shepherd Murombedzi from giving them an early lead.
The opening goal did come on 17 minutes though when the dangerous Callum Stead lashed a shot on goal which was parried by Flatters before Cosmos Matwasa swept home the loose ball at the far post.
Debutant Goodson came close to levelling after trading passes with Mark Anderson but his powerful drive flashed just over the bar as Moors began to gain a foothold in the game.
The leveller arrived on the stroke of half time. Tait got over a free kick on the left corner of the box and lifted a superb curling shot over the keeper and into the far corner of the net for 1-1.
On the hour, Lufudu somehow managed to spin inside from an impossible situation to feed Goodson on the right of the box but his shot across goal was cleared away from trouble by defender Alfie Bates.
However, just after that the game was halted as medical staff from both clubs assisted with the emergency in the terrace behind the goal.
When play resumed it was a really scrappy affair with neither side looking like opening their opposition up to find a decisive moment.
It was Brackley who came closest to doing so right at the end of nearly 20 minutes of stoppage time when substitute Levi Amantchi turned excellently inside the area but struck a powerful shot off the outside of the post.
