Ladies Fixture Moved To Brewery Field

High-flying Moors Ladies are set to return to The Brewery Field for their potentially crucial NERWFL Northern Division fixture against Pools Youth on Sunday 23rd April (2pm kick-off).

Billy Shackleton’s side currently sit proudly at the top of the table with their eyes on promotion to the Premier Division but they need to hold their nerve during the run-in.

Now it’s been confirmed that their clash with Pools Youth has been moved to The Brewery Field and we’re hoping that yet another large crowd can come along to help cheer them on in their battle for the title.

“We’ve got a really exciting run of games in front of us now and it’s absolutely brilliant that one of those will now be played at The Brewery Field,” explained Shackleton.

“The girls have a great record when it comes to playing in the stadium and we’ve been backed by fantastic crowds at our fixtures there in the past so we hope that can happen again.

“The team has enjoyed a superb season and we’ve been playing some really entertaining football so if you can come down and support us on the day it would be appreciated as we look to really achieve something and take the Club up to the next level of women’s football.”

Admission prices for the game will once again be just £3 for adults and all those under 12 can get in for free to get behind the team.

So make sure it’s marked in your diaries to get to The Brewery Field on Sunday 23rd April because Moors Ladies really need your support during their exciting end to the season.
