Moors in the Community are delighted to announce a new partnership with Mears Group to help enhance the delivery of our Community Meals programme.

We currently distribute over 30 meals a day to residents across Spennymoor and the surrounding areas, and Mears Group have kindly offered to donate two drivers to assist with the operation.

“We’ve recently added a Thursday on top of our Tuesday and Wednesday deliveries, so the Community Meals drive is going from strength to strength,” said Community Development Manager, Luke Cowie.

“I want to offer a massive thank you to Mears Group for their support for the delivery of the Programme which is having a big impact for so many local people.”
