Glen Taylor and John Lufudu were the big winners at the weekend as Moors’ end of season awards were presented following the win over Farsley Celtic at The Brewery Field.
Taylor collected an award for finishing as top scorer with 23 National League North goals to his name – and that form was also enough to see him land the coveted Players’ Player of the Year prize too.
Flying full-back Lufudu’s smile was as wide as ever when he was presented with the Fans’ Player of the Year award following our vote, whilst he also picked up the Supporters’ Club’s Connie Wailes Memorial Player of the Year gong.
Veteran defender James Curtis was also in good spirits, not only helping us to present some of the prizes but also picking up one of his own as the Management Staff’s Player of the Year.
Meanwhile, Joe Tait’s thunderbolt in the dramatic 3-2 win at The Brewery Field at the beginning of December came out on top in the vote for Moors’ 2022/23 Goal of the Season award.
