Motif8 owner Chris Pomfret has admitted he still takes huge pride in being a part of Spennymoor Town as the partnership with the kit supplier moves into a twelfth season.
Moors unveiled their fresh look for 2023/24 in a special launch at The Brewery Field last week and both the home and away kits, once again produced by Errea, have proved popular with supporters.
Pomfret and his team at Motif8 work hard behind the scenes to ensure that the Club has ready access to all the playing and training kit that is required and it’s a partnership which continues to go from strength to strength.
“It was back in 2012 when I first had the conversation with the Chairman,” Pomfret explained.
“He asked if we would tender for the kit which we did successfully at the time – we went from there and have never really looked back.
“Spennymoor Town is a name that is known all across the country now after the success they have had and the promotions. That’s been great for the Club, and it’s also been great for us as a sponsor.
“We’ve had some interesting kits over the years – we had pink one year and another had a big cross on the front. But going back to the black and white stripes in recent seasons has been good.
“I don’t think anyone can rival Errea when it comes to bespoke kits so having their support along with what we do as a company has been second to none.
“We’re proud to be part of the process and to be a part of the Club’s history.”
Fans are able to pre-order the 2023/24 home and away shirts online now and sales figures have proved encouraging – with shirts set be received into stock from Saturday 15th July.
