Danny Greenfield had insisted he is more determined than ever to show what he can do after his stay at The Brewery Field was extended into the new campaign.
The midfielder spent the second half of last term on loan at Scarborough Athletic, where he became a regular on the pitch and a favourite among the supporters.
Now he’s hoping he can take momentum and show his very best form when he pulls on the black and white stripes again during 2023/24 after the Club opted to take up the option on his contract.
“I’m very pleased to be staying,” Greenfield told us.
“I had a few different options at the end of last season but once I spoke to Chan and heard about the vision he has for this Club, it was a no-brainer for me really.
“I really enjoyed my time at Scarborough. It’s a top club with a top group of lads and it was great for me to be playing week in and week out – now I want to take that into the new season.
“I have been working hard over the summer and now I am excited to be back in training and to get the chance to play in front of the fans at The Brewery Field again.
“We’ve only got one aim this season and I think everyone knows what that is.
“When you look at the players we’ve brought in alongside the ones who have been here a while, we know we’re more than capable of achieving that target.”
