Moors Ladies fixtures for the upcoming North East Regional Women’s Football League Premier Division have now been released ahead of the big kick-off.
Billy Shackleton’s newly promoted side are gearing up well for the new campaign having brought in five new signings to bolster their squad as they prepare for life at the higher level.
The first outing of 2023/24 is actually set to be in the League Cup when Moors Ladies will make the trip to South Shields on Sunday 27th September (2pm kick-off).
They will then open their Premier Division campaign with a trip to Hartlepool United the following weekend on Sunday 3rd September, in what is a repeat of their opening day fixture last term.
New Ferens Park will stage the majority of Moors Ladies’ fixtures in the coming season. However, it has already been confirmed that the first three home games against Hull United, South Shields and Wakefield will all be played at The Brewery Field.
The Ladies continue their pre-season preparations this coming Sunday when they host Sunderland West End Ladies at New Ferens Park. Kick-off is at 2pm and admission is £3 for adults and free for Under 12s.
