There was big excitement for one young Moors fan at the weekend – when he was named as our official Twelfth Man for 2023/24 as part of our summer Season Ticket campaign.

When we launched our new Season Ticket drive in May, we revealed details about a Twelfth Man prize whereby one lucky supporter would be drawn as our Number 12 for 2023/24.

Almost 450 fans snapped up Season Tickets as part of the scheme, eclipsing the figure of just over 400 from 12 months ago – and last week the draw for the Twelfth Man was made.

It was then that Jacob Dean was pulled out as our winner for 2023/24 so we invited him onto the pitch at half time during the weekend game against Tamworth.

Commercial Manager, Paul Cockburn, was on hand to congratulate the youngster who will now be listed as our official Number 12 in the squad list in each and every Programme for the rest of the season.

As well as that, we’ll be presenting a special home shirt with his name and the Number 12 on the back, as well as inviting him to take his place in the Squad Photograph too!

“We’re thrilled that someone as passionate about the Club has won this prize,” said Cockburn.

“The campaign certainly sparked a bit of interest in Season Tickets, and I know there have been a few people asking about the winner in recent weeks.

“Jacob is a worthy winner and having his name in our squad list for the season just reminds everyone how important the connection is between the Club and the supporters here at The Brewery Field.”
